Study Abroad Enrollment Management Assistant Full Description

Department Overview:	International Academic Programs (IAP) is a unit in The International Division and serves as the largest study abroad office at UW-Madison. IAP administers more than 300 campus-wide study abroad & domestic study away programs and internships and annually sends over 3,000 UW-Madison students abroad. In this role, you would be working primarily with the Enrollment Management (EM) team who oversees the application process for all programs. The EM team also works with the processes to report studentsâ grades from abroad back to their UW-Madison records.
Anticipated Start Date:	June 22, 2026 (earliest but open to later)
Anticipated End Date (If Applicable):	May 2027
Remote Work Eligibility Detail:	Not Remote Â
Anticipated Hours Per Week:	Minimum: 15 Maximum:Â 20
Schedule:	15-20 hours per week. Hours are flexible but should be during office hours (8AM-4:30PM, M-F). Start date is flexible.
Salary/Wage Range/Lump Sum:	Minimum: $21.00/hour Maximum:Â $21.00/hour

Qualifications:	Must be enrolled as a graduate student at UW-Madison. Preference is given to students with past study abroad experience either at UW-Madison or otherwise.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:	â¢ Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. â¢ Have experience and skills with managing information in a database - preferred. â¢ Have proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. â¢ Maintain confidentiality regarding student records â¢ Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. â¢ Be able to work for half days or other large blocks of time. â¢ Demonstrated ability to work independently and to be self-motivated. â¢ Have the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
