Job Description
The Supervisor for Document Processing manages a team of Document Processors tasked with reviewing and processing enrollment applications, student enrollment documentation and student file maintenance. The position provides support and coaching to ensure Document Processors are adequately equipped to achieve job-specific performance standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:   Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
  • Maintains complete knowledge of compliance and eligibility for student related enrollment using the K12 Document Processing Guidelines, along with Knowledge Base tools.
  • Maintains strong knowledge of the education industry, trends, competitors, products and can convey that intelligence to the team;
  • Works to ensure Document Processor performance meets and/or exceeds established department goals; and that school and state compliancy requirements are met for all incoming enrollment documents.
  • Monitors document review and performs regular quality assurance and coaching to ensure customer service and productivity levels are met;
  • Assists with new Document Processing on-boarding and training and prioritizes on-going coaching activities for maximum impact and highest quality.
  • Ensures Document Processors achieve expected levels for processing documents received, and schedule adherence
  • Conducts annual performance reviews (quantitative and qualitative) and identifies team members for advancement; initiates training programs geared towards career progression;
  • Completes a variety of administrative tasks, such as: maintaining employee information cards, crafting corrective active documentation, coaching, monitoring, reporting, etc.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert on key information, managing changes and updates for Document Processors as needed;
  • Manages all Document Processing-level escalations and issues;
  • Works closely with multiple support and operations organizations to collaborate, make recommendations, and implement strategies/projects to improve all customers experience

Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises 15 or more Full-time Equivalent (FTE) regular employees and/or contractors.  Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:   
  • High School Diploma / GED and relevant work experience, OR
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar call center role
Certificates and Licenses: None required.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Our work from home members are required to have and maintain High-speed internet connection. At the minimum 50Mbps download speed and 10Mbps upload speed, if not competing with other household users. For the sake of call quality, satellite, DSL, data plans, wireless or dial-up services are not compatible.  
  • Some Internet service providers enable what is called SIP ALG (Session Initiation Protocol Application Layer Gateway). This interferes with our systems and must be disabled by the provider. 
  • Ethernet connection is preferred.  

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  
  • Physical requirements: sedentary work, fluent typing, listening, speaking, extensive reading, repetitive motions, and extended computer usage. 
  • Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during our hours of operation
  • Attend virtual training via web cam
  • Own or have daily access to a smart device where Apps can be downloaded/accessed (i.e., phone, tablet)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills  
  • Knowledge of current Enrollment and / or Online School Systems (Internal / External)
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiency.
  • Ability to clear required background check

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  
  • Associate degree or higher in related field
  • Management experience
  • Strong analytical skills

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level.  Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections.  Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range. 
 
We anticipate the salary range to be $51,722.00 - 68,963.00. Eligible employees may receive a bonus.  This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors.  These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
