Amplify Education is looking for a talented and motivated Supply Chain Analyst to join our Supply Planning team. The ideal candidate is organized and responsible, with a keen sense of leadership. We are seeking someone with a successful background in supply chain planning.

Reporting to the Manager of Supply Planning,  the Supply Chain Analyst will assist in supporting the pan-Amplify function of supply chain operations for all physical materials for Amplify Education, Inc.
 
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Create timely and accurate supply plans for all physical materials through review of current inventory position, future forecast needs, explosion of assembly requirements and safety stock analysis.
  • Review daily and weekly inventory and supply planning task lists to ensure that print material and assembly orders are placed, expedited, and adjusted in a timely manner
  • Perform analysis of data to identify trends and validate assumptions to inform procurement, production, and financial decision making
  • Create summaries, both visually and written, that support proposed  supply planning actions, streamlined stakeholder decision making, and highlight areas of potential risk to the business.
  • Aggregate and methodically create data sets to support ad hoc and ongoing business reporting needs, with a focus on building sustainable repeatable solutions
  • Analyze data to identify problematic areas within supply  planning, suggest improvements and escalate complex planning issues to management for immediate resolution
  • Actively work to improve all aspects of Amplify’s supply planning capabilities by reviewing current methodology and processes to optimize forecasting and planning accuracy
  • Document all processes thoroughly, ensuring they are codified for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications: 
  • Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in supply planning, inventory planning, demand forecasting, or production planning
  • Education: Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in ERP/MRP systems like NetSuite, data visualization platforms such as Tableau, strong SQL proficiency with experience in writing complex queries for data manipulation purposes, and advanced proficiency in spreadsheet applications and analytical tools
  • Skills: Exceptional analytical, strategic, and creative problem-solving abilities
  • Communication: Strong capability in both verbal and written communication, demonstrating the ability to clearly and concisely summarize data to highlight relevant information, drive decision making, and resonance with stakeholders
  • Personal Attributes: Energetic self-starter, collaborative spirit, capable of thriving under pressure and working with time-sensitive deadlines, innovative solution creation, and sense of urgency
 
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Supply chain, inventory management, and/or manufacturing experience in education publishing or hands-on learning companies
  • Strong understanding of Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) in a manufacturing environment
  • Certified in Planning and Inventory management (CPIM) from ASCM or comparable certification

The gross salary range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000. This role is eligible to earn an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
