Advertised Job Summary  | Administers the technical support of PeopleSoft for Purchasing. Develops data standards and documents procedures systemwide. Serves as the first level staff for the administration of PeopleSoft in the Purchasing Department. Responsible for maintaining and updating the web presence for department.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience  | Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 1 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Preferred Qualifications  | Bachelor’s degree and 5 years procurement or supply experience. Must have the ability to work under minimum or limited supervision. Must be able to make sound decisions under stressful conditions.

Gathers, compiles, and synthesizes information for technology processes or systems for the Purchasing Department. Makes recommendations or assists in making recommendations or development or enhancement of existing management system, Peoplesoft. Analyzes business user needs to assess technical feasibility and solutions to assist the internal department as well as business community.
Translates business requirements into functional specifications.
