Job Description 
Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginia’s capital city and five nearby counties. Annually, our four campus sites serve approximately 13,000 credit students and provide training for 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance. Position Summary
Reynolds Community College is seeking a Systems Engineer to support and secure enterprise server, endpoint, and cloud infrastructure across multiple campuses. This role is responsible for designing, maintaining, and securing Windows and Linux systems, virtualization platforms, and Microsoft 365 services in alignment with VCCS security standards. The position serves as a technical escalation resource and supports monitoring, vulnerability remediation, and incident response.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, patch, secure, and monitor Windows and Linux servers Manage virtualization, storage, backup, and recovery systems Administer endpoint management platforms (MECM, Intune, Endpoint Central) Create and maintain workstation and laptop images and software deployments Support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) Manage Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCPSupport LAN/WAN and Meraki-managed network environments Respond to escalated incidents and participate in change management Maintain technical documentation and security compliance standards
