Job Description
The Talent Acquisition and Development Specialist will focus primarily on student retention and the professional development of students within the Institute for Cybersecurity (ICS) at Marshall University. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing strategies that ensure student success, development, and long-term engagement with the cybersecurity programs.
The Specialist will collaborate with faculty, staff, industry partners, and alumni to foster an enriching student experience that supports career growth, enhances retention, and strengthens Marshall’s reputation in the cybersecurity field.

Salary Range | $70,000
Required Qualifications
Must have an MS degree in digital forensics, cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline.
Experience
Demonstrated experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or student development, preferably in higher education or cybersecurity. Strong understanding of workforce trends and skills gaps in the cybersecurity industry. Proven experience in building partnerships with external organizations, including academic institutions and industry partners. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple initiatives and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
