Job Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for setting the tone for the candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. This role will enable Recruiters and Hiring Managers to continue to deliver our
award winning candidate experience. As the successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to increase the visibility of D2L, to work with hiring managers and to interact directly with candidates. Talent Acquisition Coordinators must have superb communication and organizational skills and must be prepared to support a lot of hiring! How Will I Make an Impact?
- Guiding candidates throughout the entire recruitment process and recommending interview scheduling best practices to ensure a positive candidate experience
- Scheduling and communicating timelines and expectations to all stakeholders
- Collecting and reporting Talent Acquisition data to People and Culture stakeholders
- Requesting reference checks for various positions and initiating background screening process
- Assisting with various recruitment events, including coordinating staff participation, set up, and working at various job fairs and networking events
- Aiding in establishing a recognizable "destination employer" reputation for the company, both internally and externally
- Support Talent Acquisition Partners with the application and execution of the annual Candidate Experience Award submission
- Collecting new hire documentation and setting up new hires for their first day in our HRIS
- Supporting and assisting other recruiting initiatives as assigned

- Polished interpersonal and communication skills, including a demonstrated ability/comfort interacting with senior level managers
- Exceptional organizational skills; strength in organizing and coordinating multiple activities and prioritization of tasks

- Managing various recruitment tools, including applicant tracking system and web-based job boards, reference check tools and background checks
- Scheduling interviews with multiple internal participants including C-level executives
- Guiding candidates throughout the entire recruitment process and recommending interview scheduling best practices to ensure a positive candidate experience

Suggested Qualifications/Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of recruitment or HR Coordinator experience within a fast-paced environment, or comparable customer-facing office administration experience
Note: this role will be located at D2L's Kitchener HQ, with an expectation of working in office a minimum of 3 days per week
The expected base salary range for a new hire in this role is listed below. The annualized base salary offered is determined by each candidate’s relevant knowledge, skills, education, training and experience. It is aligned to ensure both internal and external competitiveness using market data for the geographic location and industry. As part of the total compensation at D2L the role may be eligible for additional benefits including a Wellness Subsidy, Equity Grants, Variable Incentive, and more.
Base Salary Range
$50,000—$60,000 CAD
