Villanova University is hiring a Teacher to mentor and facilitate an Afterschool Artificial Intelligence (AI) Club for elementary students in collaboration with the North Penn School District. The role involves co-developing and leading age-appropriate AI learning activities, supporting student project development, and collaborating with faculty and AI professionals during the club sessions from January to June 2026.
Highlights
Co-develop and facilitate after-school AI Club sessions two to three afternoons per week.
Collaborate with Villanova faculty and AI experts to adapt materials for elementary students (grades 1–6).
Provide classroom management and guide a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Support student teams in planning, documenting, and presenting AI-enabled projects.
Participate in planning and reflection meetings and assist with organizing AI Showcase events.
Requires current K–12 teaching experience in North Penn School District or nearby areas.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills needed.
Preferred interest in STEM, technology integration, and willingness to learn about AI.
Part-time hourly position, approximately 5–10 hours per week, January to June 2026.
Compensation ranges from $30.93 to $32.64 per hour.
