Position Summary:
This position is responsible for providing instruction to Adult Education (AE) students as described by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunities Act (WIOA). Various positions are available with coaching or in the classroom: traditional, online, hybrid, tutoring, HyFlex, and blended learning styles. Instruction is at pre-college levels and includes, but is not limited to, math, reading, writing, social studies, science, and digital literacy.

Essential Functions:
• Teach students in a classroom and/or online setting, including small and large groups and individual study
• Coach one-on-one or teach at a pre-college level in the areas of math, reading, writing , social studies, science, and/or digital literacy
• Track student attendance and educational activities
• Organize and maintain students’ files and keep documentation up-to-date
• Administer appropriate assessments
• Communicate effectively, written and verbal
• Attend staff meetings and trainings
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
• Conveys by words and action the values expected by CWI

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Must have reliable transportation
• Certification or degree in Education preferred
• Experience teaching AE through WIOA preferred

Additional Instructions For Applicants: 
The current open position is for a Tuesday and Thursday morning foundational math teacher.
Most positions at CWI are in-person and based on campus. While some roles may allow up to two remote workdays per week, eligibility for remote work is determined on a case-by-case basis at the hiring manager's discretion. All candidates must reside within, or be willing to relocate to, a reasonable commuting distance from CWI. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
