From simplifying access with single sign-on, to advancing equity with usage analytics, to automating secure rostering, our platform helps schools focus on what matters most: teaching and learning.

We’re not just building tools, we’re building what’s next in education. By removing barriers and enabling data-driven decisions, our solutions help educators lead with confidence and students thrive in and out of the classroom every day.

Our team is driven by purpose and grounded in three core values:
  • Strive to Grow - always learning, improving, and innovating.
  • Deliver Worthwhile Experiences - for our users, our partners, and each other.
  • Contribute with Heart - putting people first in everything we do.

These values shape how we work, innovate, and support the communities we serve. If you’re ready to do work that makes a real difference, and grow alongside a team that values collaboration, support, and continuous improvement. ClassLink is the place for you.

ClassLink is seeking a Technical Program Manager who will drive the predictable, coordinated delivery of complex initiatives across ClassLink’s Development organization. This role translates roadmaps and business objectives into actionable plans, sequences cross-team dependencies, manages risks, removes blockers, and coordinates releases to ensure work is delivered on time and with quality. Partnering with Product Management, Engineering, Quality Engineering, Design, Cloud, Security, and Product Operations, the Technical Program Manager aligns priorities and provides clear visibility into program status and critical paths. This role also uses AI-enabled tools to streamline reporting, identify dependencies and risks, and reduce coordination overhead. Success requires strong organizational and facilitation skills, sound delivery judgment, data-informed decision-making, and the ability to independently drive complex, multi-team programs to completion.

Delivery Strategy, Planning & Program Governance
  • Own end-to-end delivery of assigned cross-team programs, translating product and engineering objectives into integrated plans, milestones, and clear delivery commitments.
  • Build and maintain program roadmaps and dependency maps across multiple teams, keeping the critical path visible and current.
  • Establish and steward lightweight delivery governance for assigned programs — intake, prioritization inputs, definition of done, and release-readiness criteria — aligned to Product Operations standards.
Accountability & Results
  • Drive programs to on-time, high-quality completion by proactively identifying and removing blockers, sequencing dependencies, and managing scope and critical path.
  • Maintain an accurate, current view of program status, risks, and mitigations; escalate early with context and recommended options rather than surprises.
  • Coordinate cross-team release planning and release readiness, including periodic evening and occasional weekend release windows.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
  • Track and report delivery metrics (throughput, cycle time, predictability, dependency aging, DORA-style signals) and use them to improve flow within assigned programs.
  • Identify recurring delivery friction and dependency bottlenecks and drive systemic, repeatable improvements rather than one-off fixes.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tooling to automate status rollups and surface risks and dependencies, validating outputs and keeping information lean and trustworthy.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Serve as the connective tissue across Product, Engineering, Quality Engineering, Design, Cloud/Platform, and Security for assigned programs.
  • Produce clear, concise program updates and executive-ready status communications tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Facilitate cross-team planning and coordination ceremonies (quarterly/PI planning, dependency reviews, release checkpoints, retrospectives) and hold teams to shared commitments through influence rather than authority.

This role is 100% remote eligible, with quarterly strategy meetings that are in-person.

NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employees may be asked to perform other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
Requirements

Required
  • 5+ years coordinating the delivery of complex, cross-team software programs in an Agile environment or similar experience.
  • Demonstrated success managing dependencies, risks, and release coordination across multiple teams simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with program/work-management tooling (Linear, Jira) and with building delivery metrics and dashboards.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools to streamline program coordination while validating outputs and maintaining accountability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and facilitation skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in SaaS, identity/access, or education technology.
  • Familiarity with scaled Agile practices and delivery/DORA metrics.
  • Working knowledge of SQL or analytics tools (Looker, Amplitude, or similar).
  • Prior software engineering or quality engineering background.

This role is 100% remote eligible, with quarterly strategy meetings that are in-person.
