How can you make an impact?

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to provide operational management and guidance for complex data engineering projects executed by our Data & Analytics team. Reporting to the Strategy and Operations Lead, this role involves working directly with engineering teams to manage projects, ensure alignment and collaboration between internal and external team members, identify and mitigate risks and blockers, and drive successful project outcomes.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Project delivery: Work with teams to complete commitments on time, meeting high-quality standards and adhering to approved processes, with an emphasis on collaboration and accountability. 
  • Lifecycle compliance: Guide projects through the approved D&A lifecycle stages, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and information governance standards. 
  • Project facilitation: Proactively identify and remove barriers to progress, enabling teams to work efficiently and collaboratively across functions.
  • Communication strategy: Develop project status reports and debriefs that create transparency, promote operational efficiency, and inform key decisions.
  • Tools management: Work with project-tracking technologies such as Confluence and Jira, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
  • Eye on the details: Understand the intricacies of the projects and technical activities involved in order to identify risks, drive optimal execution, and communicate to less-technical stakeholders.

 

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred.

  • 3 years of experience in technical project management, program management, or operations
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery in data and analytics or related settings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to different kinds of stakeholders
  • Kanban, Scrum, or Waterfall-style management experience
  • Ability to work with team members to implement and follow new processes
  • Ability to influence diverse stakeholders in a matrixed organization
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Growth mindset, open to change and continuous improvement
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

The pay range for this position is between $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
