Job Summary  | The College of Public Health’s Center for Public Health Analytics and Informatics is seeking a Technical Project Specialist II to join our team. The Technical Project Specialist II will help manage progress, deliverables, and communication across several research and infrastructure‑building projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating complex discussions into actionable plans and supporting multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring project activities align with broader program goals Tracking milestones, risks, dependencies, and cross‑project interactions Synthesizing findings across research efforts to identify gaps, risks, and dependencies Coordinating communication, responsibilities, and deliverables across multidisciplinary teams Supporting timeline management and producing data‑driven reports Documenting decisions, action items, and technical requirements during meetings Assisting leadership with strategic decision‑making and program adjustments

Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders

Qualifications Preferred
Knowledge of public health, health policy, or health services research Familiarity with data use agreements, IRB protocols, and project management practices Experience documenting technical requirements and synthesizing complex discussions into clear summaries and next steps Experience working on state, public sector, or multi‑agency projects
Work Environment
This position is primarily remote, with occasional in‑person meetings in Lexington, KY or Frankfort, KY.
