The Technologies Platform Manager leads campus efforts to support identified student technologies platforms and their users to enhance student retention, timely graduation, and employability. The Technologies Platform Manager develops and improves a technology-enabled student success network, using identified student success technologies (e.g., EAB Navigate), to guide data-informed interventions. This position is the primary contact for Student Affairs and Academic Support departments, and additional campus partners for training, features enhancements, functions, workflow, reports, and analytics that will drive measurable results in student success.

Primary responsibilities include:
Lead the first-year retention survey and develop capacity and intentional plans to expand targeted surveys beyond the first year. Organizes and/or participates in events and programs specific to Carolina Experience target student populations. Work collaboratively with Student Affairs and Academic Support (SAAS) and other key stakeholders to drive coordination of technology-enabled interventions for student success across the campus, including but not limited to the EAB Navigate coordinated care network. Serve as primary point of contact for workflow, troubleshooting, and process improvements associated with Student Affairs and Academic Support departments and additional campus partners using identified student technology platforms (e.g., EAB Navigate).

Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience  | Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials   
Preferred Qualifications  | Master’s degree and at least 5 years of direct experience with higher education student success. Experience coordinating student success management and intervention systems. Direct experience facilitating student-based initiatives.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities  | Knowledge of student services in higher education is required. Strong analytical skills and the ability to draw sound conclusions based on information is critical. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver training and information to a wide range of constituents are required.  Demonstrated knowledge in assessment and outcomes measurement. Must be able to use data to persuade stakeholders and lead positive change.

Guide the strategic implementation of EAB’s mobile app, with a focus on phased, coordinated, project planning and execution. Collaborate with Carolina Experience to collect qualitative (including student focus groups) and quantitative feedback to inform approach to implementation and project phasing.
