Salary Range
Classification Range $4,595 - $6,694 per month. Hiring range depending on qualifications, not anticipated to exceed $4,595 - $4,974 per month.
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. This is a temporary position to end on or before June 30, 2027, with a possibility of renewal on an annual basis if funds and/or program needs exist.

The IT-Student Technology Services team is seeking a Technology Support Specialist I with a positive attitude and an active, energetic mind characterized by highly ethical practices and a commitment to inclusivity, openness, flexibility, integrity, and kindness.
Duties and Responsibilities
Centrally managed by the Division of Information Technology and locally directed by the department of TitanHEALTH, the Technology Support Specialist I (TSS I) provides entry-level technical support for hardware and software, computer deployment and maintenance, desktop systems, and related technology services for TitanHEALTH and Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). The TSS I assists TitanHEALTH/CAPS staff with troubleshooting, system setup, equipment installation, and basic technical support to ensure the effective operation of TitanHEALTH and CAPS technology resources and data security.
The TSS I provides support for systems and applications including Point N Click (PNC), Clinisys, Windows, and Mac environments; monitors the help desk ticketing system and responds to entry-level support requests; supports IT-supported software, cloud-based applications, and services; and ensures workstations, exam rooms, pharmacy/lab/x-ray, conference rooms, and other spaces in TitanHEALTH and CAPS are properly configured and operational. The role tests and evaluates new technologies for alignment with operational and security needs, runs and creates reports from operational applications, provides practical solutions to user technical issues, and delivers training and 1:1 user support with technical equipment.
The TSS I configures laptops and other technology devices for clinical and administrative use and maintains accurate tracking of technology assets; responds to phone and web-based IT requests and logs and tracks support tickets; delivers and installs technology hardware, software, and security features; and, in the absence of the Systems Administrator, assists with coordinating IT student assistants, including task delegation, consultation, and feedback on student work. The role provides timely communication regarding IT and systems challenges impacting healthcare and mental health services or data security to the supervisor and onsite manager. Other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications
Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in a related field, with relevant education and/or experience substitutable for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Under direct supervision, the role performs entry-level professional technology support duties, provides customer service and support to campus users, troubleshoots problems, and performs basic technology updates and tasks following defined procedures. Requires general knowledge of information technology systems, applications, and networks; general knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting; organizational and time management skills; attention to detail and accuracy; analytical skills; and communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, faculty, and staff. Requires the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information, work independently and as part of a team, and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily and is required for employment. CSU will make a conditional offer of employment, which may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information, or if the candidate knowingly withheld or falsified information.
License/Certifications
