Telecommunications Learning & Development Specialist Sr Full Description

Here's the Role: 
We are seeking a visionary Senior Learning & Development Specialist to build and spearhead new training initiatives for our telecommunications team! In this strategic role, you will design, develop, and launch high-impact learning programs that elevate individual performance, drive team engagement and support telecom’s business goals. Shape employee growth by designing strategic learning paths (e.g., classroom, web-based, or blended) tailored to specific business goals. As a key partner to HR and business leaders, you will build, launch, and drive impactful training and mentorship initiatives. This is an opportunity to leverage industry expertise to deliver and optimize our services in telecom! 

How You’ll Contribute: 
  • Partner with SMEs to perform needs assessments and apply adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies to build and deliver engaging training solutions via CBT, ILT or blended learning. 
  • Direct scalable training and mentorship programs while partnering with leaders to strengthen team capabilities within assigned business units.  
  • Design and deliver comprehensive leadership and compliance training programs, drive employee development and operational best practices. 
  • Evaluate and adjust training content to maintain high engagement and relevance across a diverse workplace. 
  • Measure program metrics and continuously improve curriculum effectiveness to optimize results. 
  • Align learning programs with LCRA’s business objectives for telecom by collaborating closely with department leaders to assess talent needs and skill gaps. 

How You’re Qualified: 
  • Nine or more years of experience in companywide and/or operational training and development programs or other relevant experience.
  • A degree(s) in human resource management, business administration, or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
  • Driver's license
