Description
We provide technology that community financial institutions use to manage risk and drive growth. Our solutions automate key processes – from anti-money laundering to fraud detection to CECL readiness to lending workflows – empowering our customers by addressing their Enterprise Risk Management needs.
 
We are seeking a Training Consultant, reporting to the Manager of Client Education. This role focuses on training end users at community financial institutions on Abrigo’s Financial Crimes solutions. The Consultant provides the final component of a successful software implementation by ensuring users can effectively and efficiently use the products they purchase. Training may be conducted virtually, onsite, or a combination of both. The position can be based in Raleigh, NC, Austin, TX, or remote.
 
What You’ll Do:
  • Develop proficiency across all functional areas of Abrigo’s Financial Crimes applications to support customer learning requirements.
  • Demonstrate software proficiency by completing established 30-60-90 day onboarding requirements.
  • Deliver engaging training virtually, in-person and onsite across various solutions to support implementation and ongoing product adoption.
  • Help clients understand how effective software usage supports their broader business needs.
  • Collaborate with Product Development to maintain and enhance products based on client feedback.
  • Improve internal processes to support a best-in-class client education program, including developing training materials and online learning content.
  • Maintain records and operational systems in accordance with established processes.
  • Lead Abrigo-sponsored client events.
 
What You’ll Need:
  • 3+ years of experience training users on complex software products.
  • 2+ years of banking experience, ideally in BSA/AML/CFT compliance and/or fraud.
  • Strong presentation, training, and group facilitation skills, with experience using audience-engagement methods appropriate for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and take ownership of responsibilities from start to finish, and adapt as customer timelines shift.
  • Highly adaptable and open to change, with a commitment to serving customer needs effectively.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills- both in-person and virtually. 
  • A client-first mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and relationship management.
  • Ability to learn new software programs quickly.
  • Strong troubleshooting, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 20% of the time.
