Training Curriculum Developer Purpose:Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a Training Curriculum Developer in Virginia Beach, VA.This position is to provide Training Curriculum Development support for modernization and upgrade initiatives for Sensor Distribution Systems (SDS) onboard Navy ships

.Job Description:Develop, review, update, and maintain Navy Training System Plans (NTSP), Computer Base Training (CBT), Lesson Plans, Training Guides, and other training materials and planning documentation for the execution of Navy training requirements.Develop Computer Based Training (CBT) hosted on Navy e-Learning.Assist in defining training requirements and associated support strategies for systems and equipment.Review and evaluate training strategies/plans, training assessments, integrated learning environment, web-base training, and embedded training.Review and updated Learning Management System (LMS) and non-LMS CBT files, Storyboards, Data Maps, and other applicable training documentation for technical refreshes.

Qualifications:Must have a Must have a High School Diploma and at least 5 years of relevant experience.Must have experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (I.e., Project and Excel)Must have 5 years of experience with CBT development.Must have 5 years of experience with NTSP.

Desired Qualifications:Experience in Technical Writing for Naval Systems, preferred.Experience with Model Base Product Support (MBPS) , preferred.Experience with utilizing Navy Data Environment (NDE) with various modules, preferred.Experience with OPNAVINST 1500.76 Naval Training Systems Requirements, preferred.

Security Requirements: Must have an Active DoD Secret Security clearance, and the ability to maintain clearance. Must maintain clearance eligibility to access military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards.  

Travel Requirements:
Less than 10%If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:Must be able to work in an office, industrial, or shipboard environment. Be able to lift and move materials not to exceed the guidelines set for one-man lift. Must be able to perform site surveys and carry a laptop computer.
