General Summary
GTI Energy is looking for a motivated and energetic individual to assist in the daily operations of the Education and Training department.  In this role, you will provide training coordination and administrative duties in support of activities and programs provided by the Education and Training Group to energy industry stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Maintain Cornerstone LMS platform to ensure training offerings are up to date and in compliance with IACET accreditation requirements.
  • Maintain and update course and student records in compliance with IACET accreditation requirements. Prepares monthly status reports for the department.
  • Assist with maintaining, updating, and developing new training content using Articulate 360 or similar applications in compliance with IACET accreditation requirements.
  • Manage the event management platform, Cvent, along with self-registration hardware and software, to support sponsorships and registration activities under the direction of the Events Manager.
  • Management of event invoicing and revenue reports under the guidance of the Events Manager.
  • Assist with maintaining departmental Standard Operating Procedures in accordance with IACET accreditation requirements.
  • Assist with annual training calendar and course materials, make changes as needed and request updates to the website as required.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining financial records, including invoices, purchase orders, and payments, while supporting internal customer satisfaction and contributing to the achievement of group budget objectives.
  • Assist with responding to customers in a clear and timely manner to incoming inquiries to group mailbox.
  • Assist with managing training materials and schedule for onsite and remote training programs.
  • Support training activities such as course entry, participant enrollment, and course closeout in compliance with IACET accreditation requirements.
  • Assist with distribution and collection of training course surveys from trainees and instructors in compliance with IACET accreditation requirements.
  • Work independently; set work priorities, plan workload, and make routine decisions.
  • Maintain training supply levels, re-ordering supplies using cost effective vendors as necessary.
  • Minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business (5%).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Experience with Zoom conferencing platform preferred.
  • Experience with event management software preferred, such as Cvent.
  • Experience with Articulate 360 application preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and assess and analyze data.
  • Ability to work and support an onsite and remote team.
  • Ability to operate media equipment such as projectors and personal computers.
 
Education and Experience
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is preferred; a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Communications, or Marketing is preferred.
  • One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
 
Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 USD annually. This salary range is GTI Energy’s good faith estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, GTI Energy’s business or organizational needs and an individual’s relevant experience, education, qualifications, certifications, skills, seniority, geographic location, and/or performance. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus. The range listed is just one component of GTI Energy’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, paid time off, and region-specific benefits.
