Job Summary This position will serve as Executive Director for the Training Resource Center (TRC) and act as Principal Investigator for sponsored programs at the TRC. They will serve as the primary point of contact to sponsors for contract goals, objectives, deliverables, and reporting. This position will be the liaison with the UTC and Cabinet for Health and Family Services. This person will oversee all management for the TRC programs. This will include supervision, coaching, mentoring and performance evaluations of all TRC staff. Responsible for the oversight of financial management and strategic planning of the Center, this position will have the daily decision-making concerning the sponsored program budgets. This person will oversee all fiscal decisions to measure impact on programming. The TRC Executive Director will lead the development and implementation of TRC research strategic plan, administrative and leadership contributions to overall CoSW administration and College research enterprise. The successful candidate will have oversight and leadership of the Office of Professional Development and Continuing Education, oversight, leadership, and strategic planning of expansion and growth of research enterprise within the TRC. This position is responsible for conceptualizing, implementing, and assessing activities and initiatives associated with CoSW research infrastructure development. This person will provide oversight, direction, and strategic consultation to faculty/staff members developing extramural proposals and develop research initiatives consistent with supporting faculty in research activities along the project continuum (pre-proposal, proposal submission, and post award). This position is responsible for engaging community stakeholders and serving as a liaison between CoSW researchers and community partners, as it relates to research activity. The successful candidate will have very strong communication and writing skills; be a good leader with proven success.
