Job Description
This position can be located anywhere in the US, with a preference for candidates in the Chicagoland area. 

Overview:
Motorola Solutions is seeking a dynamic and creative instructional designer/trainer. As part of the training division of the Global Education team, you will design, develop, and deliver training and documentation for the Centralized Managed Services Operations organization.
Functions of the Training Specialist include but are not limited to:
  • Design, develop, and maintain training assets that support the knowledge growth of the organization and its support of Motorola systems and solutions.
  • Write concise, technical, and effective instructional content for a variety of deliverables, including lesson plans, guides, online content, and more.
  • Follow a scalable and repeatable process in the scoping, creation, and maintenance of content.
  • Utilize multimedia elements, simulations, and assessments to enhance the effectiveness of learning materials.
  • Manage and monitor training assets and courses in the LMS.
  • Work closely with team leads to ensure training content fills knowledge gaps and is appropriate for the intended audience.
  • Collaborate with SMEs across the organization to produce high-quality and effective training assets.
  • Work under tight timelines without compromising the quality of work.

Qualifications:
  • Strong aptitude for learning new technology, software, and processes quickly and the ability to convey the meaning of complex concepts clearly to a broad audience.
  • Knowledge of ILT and OLT learning design and development models, adult learning principles, and delivery methods.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative, team-based environment.
  • Creativity, enthusiasm, and drive.
  • Excellent oral, written, and formal presentation skills required.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills required.
  • Exhibits strong ownership and follow-through.

Target Base Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00
Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
