Your Role on Our Team:
The Training Specialist II serves two of our key functional areas, Marketing & Engineering. It is focused on developing, managing, and maintaining key learning experiences. This may include onboarding, early through advanced in career, technical and job-specific training.

You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities: 
  • Support training leads on critical training programs for engineering and marketing
  • Supports training lead in design, development and execution of training solutions through partnering with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) across various functions
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing training solutions.
  • Partner with T&D Shared Services to track and evaluate programs and courses
  • Supports management of learning plans and content in the Learning Management System
  • Stay up to date on knowledge related to designated audience and learning & development.

Role level requires the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Knowledge & Application
Develops professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Determines a course of action based on guidelines and modifies processes and methods as required.
Complexity & Problem Solving
Works on problems of moderate scope which are often varied and routine where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Applies learned techniques and contributes to analysis and investigation to solve problems. Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
Collaboration & Interaction
Builds productive internal/external working relationships to resolve mutual problems by collaborating on procedures or transactions. Focuses on providing standard professional advice and creating initial reports/analyzes for review by experienced team professionals.

The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:
  • 1-3 years' experience in training, business, or relevant experience
  • Preferred to have experience working in or with functions like engineering, marketing, manufacturing, operations or be effective in learning/asking questions about the business to support building the needs associated to the function and speak in terms of the business. 
  • Proficient interpersonal, customer service, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication, attention to detail and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite - Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience using a content management system (i.e. CRM, Wrike, Learning Management System)
  • Preferred: Business acumen - understand how functions within a business operate due to experience or be affecting in learning/asking questions about the business to support building the needs associated to the function and speak in terms of the business (i.e. commercialization, project management within new product development, etc.)
