Work with fellow mentors to plan and supervise monthly Saturday engagement events (September – May) Update student resource guides and occasionally give short presentations on various topics related to college readiness, life skills, self-management, scholarships, and more. Meet virtually with students to track student progress and data. Attend mandatory weekly team meetings. Conduct themselves professionally and be positive role models to students.
Minimum Qualifications	High School Diploma, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are required. The incumbent will be required to pass a Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) Background check Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.
Preferences	Commit to the program for fall and spring semester. Have at least 1 year of experience in a college-setting. Have an interest in positive youth development and/or youth mentoring. Have reliable transportation and be willing to transport students in University vehicles if necessary. Majors in education, social work, psychology, sociology, or other related fields.
