Job Description Summary
Organization's Summary Statement:
In partnership with the Assistant Director of Talent Acquisition, campus unit leaders and University Human Resources leaders, the UHR Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for addressing existing and anticipated talent acquisition and staffing needs. This position will support all facets of workforce planning, full-cycle talent acquisition, and the candidate selection process.
EXAMPLES OF WORK:
Provide full cycle talent acquisition services to campus unit leaders. Review and evaluate applications for work history, education and training, salary desired, other skills, and abilities to determine qualification for employment; conducts interviews, administers assessments, checks references and background.
Meet with Hiring Officials to discuss talent acquisition strategies.
Develop appropriate talent acquisition strategies while identifying timelines and milestones, if necessary, to guide the talent acquisition process to a timely closure.
Lead the talent acquisition process from receipt of vacancy through to onboarding of selected candidates.
Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Three (3) years of professional human resources experience in talent acquisition.
Other: Additional work experience as defined above may be substituted on a year for year basis for up to four (4) years of the required education.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
Knowledge of relevant regulatory, compliance, and employment laws.
Skill in the use of Microsoft Office and Google applications.
Ability to communicate effectively written and verbally.
Ability to present data and information effectively.
Ability to collaborate and work effectively with leaders and practitioners at all levels.
Ability to design and implement talent acquisition initiatives.
Ability to provide full cycle talent acquisition strategies, including but not limited to, sourcing, assessing, interviewing, presenting total compensation offerings, hiring, and onboarding.
Ability to work with data and metrics.
Ability to forecast staffing needs and utilize existing candidate pipelines.
Ability to identify and implement effective and creative talent acquisition strategies.
Ability to facilitate problem solving and approach client issues from a solution-oriented stance.
Ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt quickly to shifting priorities, and work effectively under pressure with multiple deliverables.
Ability to assess and prioritize risks and issues and evaluate competing needs.
