  • Preferred experience in AI and agentic AI, publishing or media sectors, and project management methodologies like lean or six-sigma.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in agile or hybrid environments.

How can you make an Impact?

This critical role within the Global Technology Services Organization is responsible for delivering innovative solutions across the McGraw-Hill Robotic Process Automations landscape including. This role is responsible for automating business requirements or mundane processes at McGraw-Hill's Robotic Process Automations (RPA) Department and will interact to other departments of McGraw-Hill's Order to Cash, Sales force (CRM), Integrations, Oracle Fusion applications for Finance and PDH.

 

What can you expect from the position?

  • Conduct reviews and analysis of business and information technology processes and solicits client requirements through interviews, workshops and/or existing systems documentation or procedures.
  • Build Automations (or BOTS), as RPA engineer to support McGraw-Hill's RPA business and technical requirements.
  • Determine underlying issues to common business problems and use appropriate influencing, negotiation, and change management techniques to implement best practice solutions.
  • Responsible for the quality of the Automations delivered and ensuring it meets business expectations.
  • Responsible for defining and communicating the process and organizational impacts of the new technology solution.
  • Work with the business teams to understand organizational & business process change management impacts due to the new technology.

 

Experience & Education skills

 

  • Degree in Management Information Systems / Computer Science (or equivalent)
  • Certification - UIPath or equivalent Robotic Process Automation tool
  • Minimum 5 yrs. of experience implementing Enterprise Business Systems in large global organizations.
  • Prior implementation of large-scale automations by utilizing Robotic Process Application is required, multiple implementations preferred.  Artificial intelligence (AI) and Agentic AI experience are a plus.
  • Multiple years of large-scale automations experience are preferred.
  • Expertise in UiPath Studio, Orchestrator and administrator activities
  • Thorough knowledge on Document Understanding, Machine Learning Models
  • Experienced in Utilize screen scraping, data scraping, and UI automation selectors to interact with applications
  • API (REST, SOAP Etc.,) Experience and Exception Handlings
  • Develop and test automation workflows with best practices
  • Develop reusable components where applicable Production support provided for process delivered
  • Proven track record of successfully aligning technology around strategic business goals in large global organizations.
  • Thorough understanding of Automations development and testing lifecycle, preferably working in Offshore/Outsourcing development and support models.
  • Background in the Publishing or Media & Entertainment industry (or similar) is desirable.    
  • Preferred but not mandatory: Project management, lean, six-sigma experience
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally in agile or hybrid environments
