How can you make an Impact?
This critical role within the Global Technology Services Organization is responsible for delivering innovative solutions across McGraw Hill's Robotic Process Automations (RPA) landscape. This role automates business requirements and mundane processes for McGraw Hill's RPA Department and interacts with other departments including Order to Cash, Salesforce (CRM), Integrations, and Oracle Fusion applications for Finance and PDH.

What can you expect from the position?
  • Conducts reviews and analysis of business and information technology processes, soliciting client requirements through interviews, workshops, and existing systems documentation
  • Builds and supports Automations (Bots) as an RPA engineer to support McGraw Hill's RPA business and technical requirements
  • Determines underlying issues to common business problems and uses influencing, negotiation, and change management techniques to implement best practice solutions
  • Responsible for the quality of Automations delivered, ensuring they meet business expectations
  • Defines and communicates the process and organizational impacts of new technology solutions
  • Works with business teams to understand organizational and business process change management impacts
  • Troubleshoots existing automations and implements permanent fixes to identified bugs

Experience & Education skills
  • Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • UiPath certification or equivalent Robotic Process Automation tool certification
  • Minimum 5 years of experience implementing Enterprise Business Systems in large global organizations
  • Prior implementation of large-scale automations using Robotic Process Automation required; multiple implementations preferred
  • Artificial intelligence (AI) and Agentic AI experience are a plus
  • Expertise in UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and administrator activities
  • Thorough knowledge of Document Understanding and Machine Learning Models
  • Experience with screen scraping, data scraping, and UI automation selectors
  • API (REST, SOAP, etc.) experience and exception handling
  • Develops and tests automation workflows with best practices and reusable components
  • Thorough understanding of the automations development and testing lifecycle, preferably in Offshore/Outsourcing development and support models
  • Background in Publishing or Media & Entertainment industry (or similar) is desirable
  • Project management, lean, or six-sigma experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in agile or hybrid environments
