User Education Associate Full Description

We are changing the way Higher Education operates, but in order to succeed in that mission we need to set up our customers for success, too. That’s where a User Ed Associate comes into play: This associate will help create the tools our customers need in order to not only adopt our products — but to become power users and product champions who can’t imagine doing their jobs without Coursedog.

Our User Education Associate has many responsibilities from testing product functionality and designing and building content, to improving the learner experience and enabling other teams to do the same. You will work closely with colleagues in Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and Sales to improve the overall user experience.

We are looking for a team member who is as comfortable leveraging AI and other digital tools to build training materials as they are adept at creating video tutorials, hosting webinars, reviewing/updating articles and applying critical thinking to ensure accurate, thorough, and engaging content. We’re looking for someone who understands the educational materials we share with customers makes a statement that goes beyond basic product knowledge and is driven to build best-in-class tools that engender customer confidence.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will create and maintain digital training materials, e.g. training videos, in-app flows/tooltips., etc.
  • You will contribute to the improvement of our Knowledge Base (recently migrated to Salesforce Service Cloud) and support post-migration cleanup and documentation gaps.
  • You will work closely with Marketing and Product as needed to host customer webinars.
  • You will support the build out and maintenance of all educational and training/learning strategy and content for end users and administrators including Release Notes, user guides, training decks, LMS courses, etc.
  • You will partner with key stakeholders to identify needs and objectives and design, develop and implement effective training solutions for face-to-face and virtual asynchronous and synchronous modalities.
  • You will support the launch and maintenance of a new LMS that is for team members and customers alike.
  • You will work closely with Marketing for customer marketing initiatives and materials and prospect initiatives that require deeper product knowledge, understanding and demonstration.
  • You will deeply understand the Coursedog Platform and Product Suite.
  • You will report on and communicate the results of educational content to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • You will manage online customer community forums - spearheading takeaways on best practices to be communicated/distributed and woven into content and training/onboarding.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 1-4 years of experience building educational/training content.
  • Strong presentation development and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in professional-level writing.
  • Demonstrated success working with cross-functional stakeholders on projects/deliverables.
  • Hunger for data-driven approaches to action - i.e. desire to track, analyze and draw insights from data whenever possible to inform strategic or prioritization decisions and demonstrated experience where you have put this into practice in previous projects/roles.
  • Must possess a customer-centric mentality; unwavering integrity, attention to detail, and desire to exceed client expectations.
  • Understands best practices around training and customer enablement and stays informed on recent trends.
  • Superb time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple competing priorities.
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, remote environment.
  • Passionate about building processes, assets, and enablement from scratch.
  • Experience working in the Higher Education space is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems, Knowledge Bases, leveraging AI, and Digital Adoption Platforms a bonus.
  • Knowledge of SAAS, product/technology industry is preferred.
