Job Description
Under general supervision, plan and execute research initiatives that generate meaningful insights and communicate findings through clear, compelling narratives. Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, product owners, and engineers to help inform product strategy, discover new opportunities, and validate design decisions that enhance the user experience and drive product optimization.
In this role as a UX Researcher II, you will be responsible for:
  • Design, plan, and execute end-to-end research studies using appropriate qualitative and quantitative methodologies with guidance from senior team members 
  • Conduct and synthesize research projects including user interviews, usability testing sessions, surveys, card sorting, and contribute to A/B testing initiatives 
  • Synthesize research findings into clear, actionable insights and present recommendations to cross-functional teams with a compelling, influential story.  
  • Analyze insights from research sessions to identify key opportunities and user needs 
  • Works collaboratively and communicates effectively with peers and managers 
  • Monitor and analyze user behavior metrics and usability benchmarks with support from senior researchers 
  • Support the evaluation and optimization of research methodologies to improve quality and efficiency of insights 
  • Assist with research operations including participant recruitment, scheduling, and research repository maintenance 
Qualifications
For this role as a UX Researcher II, you should have:
  • Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Anthropology, Social Science, Design Research, Psychology, Cognitive Science or related field 
  • 3-5 years of experience in UX Research or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • Proficiency in qualitative research methods including interviews, contextual inquiry and observational studies 
  • Working knowledge of quantitative research methods including survey design and basic statistical analysis 
  • Familiarity with mixed-methods research approaches 
  • Experience with evaluative research including usability testing and heuristic evaluation 
  • Exposure to generative and exploratory research techniques 
  • Ability to execute research protocols and discussion guides 
  • Experience with participant recruitment and screening 
  • Understanding of research ethics and informed consent practices 
  • Experience conducting research with diverse user groups

Salary Range: The base range for this position is $82,200.00 - $113,100.00. This range is based on national market data and may vary by experience and location.
