We are seeking a curious, collaborative and innovative UX Product Manager, AI, to join our Product & UX Technology team. Every day you will make a difference in the lives of others by serving as a digital product lead within EdPlus’ Enrollment portfolio, owning product strategy and outcomes for assigned products and initiatives that support the prospective student and enrollment experience.
You will partner closely with stakeholders across Admissions Services, Enterprise Technology, the Provost Office, and EdPlus to drive data-informed advancements that put the student at the center of product strategy and execution. You will work alongside AI-powered tools and systems that support enrollment workflows.
Specifically, you will work with designers, engineers, researchers, data analysts, and other product teams to identify opportunities, define roadmaps, and deliver solutions that improve both student and staff enrollment experiences. This includes a high level of collaboration in understanding customer and stakeholder needs, prioritizing initiatives, and measuring impact. You will need both comfort with and curiosity about emerging AI capabilities as they relate to enrollment products and processes. You will support evolving portfolio priorities and may take on different product areas over time.
Essential Duties:
- Define, articulate and collaborate on the UX strategy with subject matter experts on the team and across ASU.
- Manage escalations, monitor student feedback and pain points, analyze issues and design long-term solutions.
- Monitor, analyze and report on product KPIs regularly to create baselines and improvements toward exceeding goals.
- Prioritize and maintain product/UX roadmaps, providing value to students and staff through solutions that solve problems and help them achieve their goals.
- Manage product operations, including user stories, acceptance criteria, persona creation, student journeys, by facilitating design sessions and other methodologies.
- Evaluate opportunities to incorporate AI and automation into enrollment products and workflows.
- Stay current on AI tools, platforms, and capabilities relevant to higher education enrollment; bring forward recommendations for adoption where appropriate.
- Conduct competitive and market research to surface risks and opportunities for new product strategies.
- Create processes that streamline efficiencies across teams on communication, feedback, collaboration, reporting, tracking and handoffs. Translate strategy into detailed requirements by working with content, design, development, research, and data teams.
- Independently lead design thinking workshops (whiteboarding activities, design thinking workshops, flow diagrams, user journeys, etc.).
- Assume or coordinate other duties or projects as assigned or directed.

Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
- Experience in product management and leading product strategy initiatives. Prior involvement with UX teams is a plus.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated abilities in simplifying complex concepts, working with diverse teams, influencing outcomes, and achieving common goals.
- Evidence of proficiency in relationship management, with a capability to enhance partnerships across various departments and essential operational areas.
- Experience creating acceptance criteria, crafting user stories, facilitating scrum ceremonies, or documenting technical specifications.
- Proven track record analyzing data and workflows to develop innovative solutions and promote continuous enhancement. Demonstrated success in implementing product visions, strategies, and prioritized backlogs.
- Evidence of familiarity with AI tools, large language models, or AI-powered product features, and the ability to assess their practical application in a product portfolio context.
- Demonstrated skill in identifying, prioritizing, and scoping customer and organization needs.
