We are seeking a UX Researcher, Systems & AI Enablement to support systems and efficiency initiatives within EdPlus on our Product and User Experience Research team. Every day you will make a difference in the lives of others by playing a critical role in evolving our research practice, approach, and platform.
You will help scale the impact of UX research by spending approximately 60% of the time designing systems, tools, and AI-enabled workflows that reduce friction, increase insight reuse, and improve operational visibility; you will focus 40% of the time on leading and contributing to hands-on UX product research initiatives.
NOTE: This is not a fully remote position. Must be able to reliably commute to Scottsdale, AZ.
Essential Duties:
AI Enablement, Governance & Infrastructure
Own the design, implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of the systems and AI-enabled workflows that power the UX research lifecycle, ensuring they are scalable, ethical, measurable, and researcher-centered.
Design, implement, and maintain tool integrations and automations across the full research lifecycle (intake â study execution â repository â retrieval).
Create and maintain standardized research operating components (intake forms, study templates, tagging systems, reporting scaffolds, and reusable insight frameworks).
Build and enforce repository architecture, taxonomies, and knowledge management structures that make insights discoverable and reusable.
Define approved AI use cases for the research team and maintain prompt libraries, documentation standards, and QA frameworks.
Implement AI-assisted workflows that accelerate preparation, synthesis, and documentation while preserving human-led interpretation.
Ensure AI systems and workflows align with research ethics, data privacy standards, and auditability requirements.
Evaluate AI tools and research systems through structured experimentation and ongoing UX research.
Design and conduct studies to assess the usability, adoption, and effectiveness of research tools, workflows, and stakeholder engagement models, translating findings into actionable system improvements.
Measure operational health and impact through dashboards tracking efficiency gains, capacity, insight reuse, and system adoption.
UX Research Expectations
Conduct generative and evaluative research to understand user needs, behaviors, and motivations using qualitative and quantitative methods.
Develop research plans, screeners, discussion guides, and success metrics aligned to product and systems goals.
Facilitate remote and in-person research sessions, including interviews, usability testing, workshops, and evaluative studies.
Analyze and synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights.
Deliver executive-ready reports, dashboards, and insight summaries tailored to stakeholders.
Ensure research findings integrate into the knowledge base and reusable frameworks.
Partner with product managers, designers, engineers, and analysts to inform direction and validate decisions.
General Responsibilities

Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (Psychology, Social Sciences, User Experience, etc.).
Evidence of 3+ years of technical product experience (B2B/B2C interfaces, AI-assisted workflows, or platform integrations).
Evidence of 3+ years integrating user research into digital product design and development.
Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods and data analysis.
A strong portfolio or work samples that demonstrate impact through user research, including clear examples of how insights influenced design outcomes.
Experience designing and leading research projects from discovery to synthesis and reporting (independently and collaboratively).
Demonstrated familiarity with design thinking practices and facilitation of collaborative design sessions.
Experience collaborating with UX designers, engineers, product managers, and data analysts in agile environments.
Demonstrated familiarity with tools such as Qualtrics, User Testing, Google Analytics, or similar platforms for conducting and analyzing data.
Demonstrated skill in developing research reports, presentations, or dashboards to communicate findings clearly and effectively.
Experience managing timelines, workflows and teams.
Demonstrated knowledge of UX design principles and processes; hands-on design experience is a plus.
