About the role
You will lead the Financials Product team for Blackbaud including direct management of product managers to define global product strategy, end-to-end product vision and roadmaps that guide all areas of Blackbaud in delivering on customer value. You will lead a matrixed team comprising of Engineering, Products, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing to strengthen our retention, go-to-market and technology strategies while relentlessly communicating what and why behind our prioritized investments. You are an expert in business case development, an influencer and an orchestrator who balances priorities to deliver results while also delivering continuous improvement. In short, you are the “leader of the Financials business.”

About the Financials & Grantmaking Portfolio
With around ~125M USD plus in revenue, the Financials Portfolio provides end-to-end finance capabilities to our customers including Accounting, General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable as well as a Grants Portal, Compliance capabilities, Awards Management and Outcomes. It integrates with a rich partner ecosystem comprising payments, expense management solutions, among others. The immediate focus for this leadership role is:
•Grow the revenue double digits while driving bookings and retention with the goal of doubling the business by 2030.
•Explore market expansion opportunities to lead Blackbaud into a leadership position in Financial Accounting.
•Adopt and leverage AI to deliver a world class modern solution high on quality and user experience that optimizes inventory management (COGS).
•Adopt and practice an agile (SAFe driven) the Product Development model.

What you’ll do
•Lead, coach, and develop a high performing team of product managers at all levels.
•Translate customer needs and technical capabilities into a coherent market strategy and prioritized portfolio of products and services.
•Drive our product organization to take a metrics-driven, financial, and adoption-oriented approach to prioritization and investment decisions.
•Ensure clear functional, non-functional, and non-negotiable specifications are developed for all areas of the product and services portfolio and monitor product development from discovery through delivery and implementation.
•Partner with peers in Engineering, Infrastructure, PMO, Product Marketing, Customer Success, Sales, and other functions to drive world class execution of the roadmap.
•Define opportunities for new markets through identification of gaps and align Buy-Build-Partner Strategies and roadmaps to fill in gaps.
•Pricing and solution packaging - Be the catalyst for innovative solutions which solve needs and problems our customers do not even know they have.
•Work with Executive Leadership and peers to establish strategy and execution plans.
•Manage the P&L for Financials business.
•Evaluate new technologies to determine feasibility and desirability of integrating those capabilities into the portfolio.
•Create, implement, and drive business processes, system improvements, and new practices with a relentless focus on continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring
•15+ years of experience managing and developing digital products demonstrated via experience in software, technology, and/or consulting.
•Familiarity with Financials and/or Accounting software market.
•Executive presence to connect and communicate directly with CFOs and industry’s top CPAs.
•10+ years building and nurturing high performing teams.
•Experience in handling double digit growth for a 100M+ dollar business.
•Ability to drive business outcomes and collaboration across product and engineering teams.
•Demonstrated thought leadership and able to influence at all levels in the organization in a highly matrixed structure.
•P&L Management experience.
•Strong product intuition and user empathy.
•Deep experience in digital product development.
•Strong in analytics, structured, data-driven and have good interpersonal skills.
•Thrives in a fast-paced, product-oriented environment and can meet deadlines under tight time constraints.
•Strong product manager and have experience in leading cross-functional teams and motivate them to go the extra mile.
•Ability to manage and prioritize dozens of requirements, deadlines, and projects.
•Experienced in conducting user research, usability testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, and analytics.
•Deep Knowledge of Lean and Agile software development processes.
