The American Hospital Association (AHA) is a national organization that represents and serves all types of hospitals, health care networks, and their patients and communities. The AHA has two main offices, located in Washington, D.C., and Chicago. The AHA offers a flexible hybrid work schedule of three days in the office and two days working remotely.

Essential Functions
  • Supports the delivery of content for virtual educational courses and other instructional materials or educational tools
  • Team lead for maintaining the learning management system (LMS). Develops and delivers all technical aspects of online and on demand courses. Assists with transition of current face-to-face programs to blended or e-based formats following best practices.
  • Works on several education components for the Virtual Conference including but not limited to: assisting with the planning and execution of session recordings, building of virtual conference platform and staff contact for the virtual conference vendor.
  • Implements evaluation of virtual educational programming, which includes analyzing and preparing reports that measure education metrics.
  • Makes improvements to existing systems and programming based on user feedback and recommends new programming.
  • Works collaboratively with marketing team to ensure the marketing of new and existing virtual programs is accurate, on time, and ready for delivery (website, registration, etc).
  • Works with team members, vendors, volunteers and thought leaders to ensure timely and relevant content.
  • Provides excellent customer service in responding to customer inquiries.
  • Works with team to ensure a collaborative and innovative culture.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Education
  • Bachelor's Degree Education, Business Administration, Events, or Project Management Required

Minimum Qualifications: Work Experience
  • 3+ years Experience supporting education operations Required
  • Experience within an association Preferred
  • Health care industry experience Preferred

Salary Information:
Commensurate with related experience. The AHA is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location.

89000
