The VP of Growth Marketing will develop and lead integrated strategies across the full customer lifecycle, from awareness and acquisition to retention and advocacy. Reporting to the SVP of Marketing, this person will drive demand generation, increase lifetime customer value, and scale our impact with integrity. This role calls for a strategic, data-driven leader who can connect big-picture vision to execution, build and empower high-performing teams, and collaborate deeply across the organization to meet ambitious goals, all while staying grounded in our mission to support educators and students.

The Impact You'll Have: 
Lifecycle Marketing Strategy
  • Own the development and execution of end-to-end growth strategies, driving awareness, lead generation, conversion, retention, and renewals.
  • Align lifecycle efforts closely with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Enablement teams.
Digital Channel and Campaign Optimization
  • Lead strategy and performance across digital marketing channels (web, email, paid media, SEO/SEM, social, geo) to drive measurable outcomes and ROI.
  • Use experimentation, segmentation, and automation to increase personalization and efficiency.
  • Oversee the development of integrated campaigns and programs that engage new audiences and deepen relationships with current customers.
Analytics & Performance
  • Leverage data to monitor performance, identify insights, and continuously refine strategies.
  • Drive a test-and-learn culture using A/B testing and conversion optimization.
  • Build clear reporting frameworks to share marketing impact across the business.
Team Leadership & Culture
  • Manage and grow a high-performing, collaborative, and empowered team.
  • Foster a culture of experimentation, creativity, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide mentorship and support to ensure team members grow in impact and confidence.
Marketing Operations & Technology
  • Oversee marketing operations and the technology stack in close partnership with IT.
  • Serve as the process owner for Lead to Opportunity workflows, ensuring seamless lead qualification and handoff to Sales.
  • Create scalable, efficient processes that drive long-term growth.
Budget & Investment Planning
  • Manage the growth marketing budget, allocating resources toward high-ROI initiatives.
  • Make data-informed recommendations for future investments that maximize reach and impact.

What We're Looking For: 
Required Job Skills and Abilities: 
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling integrated marketing strategies in a complex or matrixed organization
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insight
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms, lead funnel optimization, and campaign attribution
  • Proven success leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams
Required Education and Experience: 
  • 10+ years of experience in leading in digital marketing, demand generation, customer life-cycle marketing, ABM
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior marketing leadership role
  • Experience in education, edtech, or mission-driven B2B2C industries is a strong plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Benefits and Pay Range:
Pay Range – This role’s range is $149,500 - $275,500 The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. This role is also eligible to participate in the company bonus plan. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
