Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Learning to lead our learning and development initiatives at iCIMS. This role will focus on go-to-market enablement, product training for employees and customers, and fostering employee role, professional, and leadership development. This includes the exciting opportunity to leverage AI in the development, delivery and subject matter of learning content internally and externally. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in adult learning principles, experience in the software industry, and a proven track record in driving impactful learning programs.

The VP, Learning leads a team of learning experts and reports to the Chief People Officer.

Responsibilities
This role is responsible for leading a team of learning professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation while advocating for best practices in adult learning and professional development. By building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their learning needs and challenges, the VP, Learning will serve as a trusted advisor on learning and development strategies that drive business results. This will include developing and analyzing key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of learning programs and initiatives and using data-driven insights to refine and enhance training offerings and the overall learning strategy.

This role will also partner across leadership and the talent team on our broader employee experience and engagement initiatives focusing on the following core areas:

Sales Enablement: 
  • Develop and implement comprehensive learning strategies that align with product launches and market initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and marketing, to create enablement tools and resources that enhance market readiness. 
  • Partner with the CRO and sales leadership around sales methodology learning and reinforcement 
 
Product Training: 
  • Partner cross functionally to design and deliver an outstanding training experience for our customers- designed to enhance their knowledge and adoption if iCIMS products  
  • Provide this same technical and product training internally to ensure that our customer-facing teams are experts across iCIMS products. 
  • Utilize various learning methodologies to cater to diverse learning styles and preferences.
 
Professional and leadership Development:
  • Partner across businesses to provide role-specific learning paths for key roles within the organization
  • Ensure a consistent and world-class approach to onboarding- for both company onboarding and functional onboarding 
  • Deliver professional skills training across all business areas, including new and innovative approaches to AI- both in learning the subject matter but also in design and delivery of learning content for all areas. 
  • Partnership with leaders on a needs-based approach to leadership learning and development to foster our next generation of leaders.  
  • Establish a framework for continuous learning and career progression within the organization.
 
AI Enablement:
  • Apply AI in the development and delivery of enablement programs
  • Support our business areas through the enablement and adoption of AI programs and initiatives 
  • Continue to evolve learning strategy to ensure enablement and understanding of AI across the company.  
 
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in learning and development, with a focus on adult learning principles
  • Experience training customer facing teams, translating go-to-market strategy into tangible actions and methodology for employees, and building customer-facing training.
  • Track record of success at leading similar programs previously
  • Experience in the software industry is preferred
  • Enthusiasm about AI and the application of it in a learning environment
  • Demonstrated experience in partnering cross functionally- within the people organization and with business stakeholders
  • Ability to “take the idea and run” to provide a sound recommendation aligned to business needs and outcomes
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for engaging and influencing diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive program improvement
  • Experience demonstrating the ROI of programs and initiatives, with a lens of learning and continuous improvement
  • Experience leading talent experience and engagement initiatives via shared ownership and accountability with key stakeholders. 
  • Experience managing managers also preferred

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $160,000-$200,000.00 annually. Additional compensation for this role includes a bonus eligibility, which program is based on personal, department and/or company performance, where applicable. Final compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, and market data. This range aligns with our commitment to equitable and transparent compensation practices, as required by applicable law.
