Role/Job Description
Here are the areas in particular where we are seeking great talent:
Perform web accessibility testing of code, apps, web pages, documents, PDFs, presentations, and the like with assistive technologies such as JAWS, VoiceOver, and ZoomText, with the understanding of their interactions with multiple browsers, devices, and platform combinations.
Log and explain accessibility defects found during testing and provide recommendations for remediation.
Perform digital accessibility manual audits, analyzing website, software and mobile apps to determine compliance with WCAG 2.x and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
Provide guidance for use of ARIA for web technologies such as HTML and mobile platforms.
Ensure that solutions for accessibility contribute to a positive user experience for all customers.
It would be great if you have:
Experience with accessibility testing for WCAG 2.x and/or Section 508 compliance
Experience conducting accessibility testing with a variety of tools including, but not limited to, automated checkers (axe, WAVE, etc.), desktop screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, etc.), mobile screen readers (VoiceOver, TalkBack), and keyboard only.
Experience accessibility testing native mobile applications on iOS and Android, and web-based applications on Windows desktop and MAC
Experience testing, tagging, and remediating PDF files
