Job Summary
- The David Eccles School of Business is seeking a hands-on Web & Digital Experience Specialist, Enrollment Marketing, to support the digital experiences, content, and communications that help prospective students discover programs, evaluate their options, take the next step, and ultimately enroll.
- This role supports 13 graduate business programs, Executive Education classes and certificates, and other enrollment-focused initiatives. The position works closely with enrollment marketing, admissions, recruitment, and program teams to ensure prospective students and Executive Education participants receive accurate, timely, compelling, and easy-to-navigate information throughout their decision-making journey.
- This is a hands-on production role. The successful candidate will regularly work directly in WordPress and HTML to build, update, troubleshoot, and publish prospect-facing digital content while also supporting broader enrollment marketing initiatives across email, CRM communications, landing pages, recruitment events, campaigns, search optimization, and other digital touchpoints.
- The role is ideal for someone who combines strong web production skills with an understanding of how digital content supports recruitment and enrollment. The goal is not simply to publish information. The work should make it easier for prospective students to understand their options, answer important questions, engage with the School, apply, and enroll.
- This is a fast-paced, execution-focused position for someone who can manage a high volume of work, respond quickly to changing enrollment priorities, maintain accuracy across a large portfolio, and independently move projects forward.
- Because admissions requirements, tuition, curriculum, deadlines, events, program offerings, and recruitment priorities change throughout the enrollment cycle, this position must be able to quickly translate those changes into accurate and effective prospect-facing experiences across multiple digital channels.
Responsibilities
Website & Digital Experience
- Manage a high volume of website updates across graduate business programs and Executive Education with a focus on speed, accuracy, consistency, and minimal rework.
- Build, update, and maintain webpages in WordPress using existing templates, components, and brand standards.
- Edit and troubleshoot HTML within the content management system when needed to resolve formatting, layout, and display issues.
- Respond quickly to website updates involving admissions requirements, tuition, curriculum, deadlines, faculty, events, program formats, schedules, and other enrollment-related information.
- Audit existing webpages to identify outdated, incomplete, inconsistent, or unclear content that may create friction for prospective students.
- Draft, edit, and structure web content around the questions prospective students commonly ask, including cost, admissions, curriculum, scheduling, career outcomes, program format, and application requirements.
- Maintain clear calls to action and pathways that help prospects inquire, register for an event, connect with recruitment staff, apply, or take another appropriate next step.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to verify links, formatting, functionality, accuracy, consistency, and usability before and after publication.
- Apply basic visual hierarchy, layout, usability, and digital design principles to improve readability and the prospective student experience.
- Identify opportunities to improve navigation, content organization, page structure, and conversion pathways across program websites.
Enrollment Marketing & Prospective Student Communications
- Support enrollment marketing initiatives designed to generate prospective student interest and move candidates through the recruitment and admissions funnel.
- Develop, edit, and deploy prospective student communications supporting inquiry, application, admissions, enrollment, events, deadlines, and other stages of the student journey.
- Support email and CRM-based prospect nurturing, including communications tailored to program interest, recruitment stage, upcoming deadlines, events, and enrollment priorities.
- Partner with enrollment marketing, recruitment, admissions, and program teams to identify communication needs and translate them into timely, effective prospect-facing content.
- Support targeted outreach designed to re-engage prospective students, encourage application completion, promote recruitment events, and address enrollment opportunities.
- Assist with admitted student and enrollment conversion communications as needed.
- Help ensure consistency across website content, email, CRM communications, recruitment outreach, digital campaigns, and other prospective student touchpoints.
- Support rapid-response enrollment efforts when programs need additional applications, event attendance, prospective student engagement, or other recruitment activity.
- Look beyond individual communications to consider how multiple touchpoints work together throughout the prospect journey.
Campaign & Landing Page Production
- Build and maintain landing pages supporting paid media, email, recruitment campaigns, employer outreach, events, partnerships, and other enrollment initiatives.
- Adapt messaging, page structure, and calls to action for different prospective student audiences, programs, and campaigns.
- Coordinate campaign destinations with enrollment marketing priorities to create consistency between advertising, outreach, and the digital experience prospects encounter after clicking.
- Support testing and refinement of landing pages, calls to action, and content based on campaign needs and prospective student behavior.
- Assist with the execution of new campaigns and recruitment initiatives across multiple graduate programs and Executive Education offerings.
- Identify opportunities to reduce friction and improve conversion within campaign and landing-page experiences.
Recruitment Events & Program Promotion
- Create and maintain digital content supporting information sessions, webinars, application workshops, program previews, recruitment events, and other prospective student activities.
- Manage and publish events across website calendars and related program pages.
- Support pre- and post-event communications, including invitations, reminders, logistics, follow-up messages, and related digital content.
- Coordinate with recruitment and program teams to ensure event information, messaging, registration pathways, and calls to action are accurate across channels.
- Help improve the digital event journey from initial promotion and registration through attendance and follow-up.
Search, Content Optimization, & Emerging Digital Discovery
- Apply SEO best practices, including page structure, headings, metadata, internal linking, content organization, and question-based content.
- Structure content to improve visibility within traditional search engines and evolving AI-powered and conversational search experiences.
- Develop FAQ and question-based content that directly addresses prospective student information needs.
- Identify opportunities to improve how Eccles programs are represented, understood, and discovered across digital channels.
- Monitor changes in prospective student digital behavior and help adapt content and enrollment marketing practices accordingly.
- Support improvements to content structure so information is easier for prospective students, search engines, and AI-powered platforms to interpret.
- Stay curious about emerging digital tools, platforms, and behaviors that may affect how prospective students research and evaluate graduate education.
Content Quality & Portfolio Management
- Maintain accuracy and consistency across a broad portfolio while recognizing differences in audience, positioning, admissions requirements, and enrollment strategy among programs.
- Work with marketing, admissions, recruitment, program, design, faculty, and other stakeholders to gather, verify, and translate information into effective prospect-facing content.
- Track multiple concurrent requests and projects and ensure time-sensitive enrollment work is completed by required deadlines.
- Identify recurring content issues, process gaps, and opportunities to improve efficiency or the prospective student experience.
- Maintain familiarity with graduate programs and Executive Education offerings to understand how individual updates fit within broader recruitment and enrollment priorities.
- Proactively identify outdated or conflicting information rather than relying solely on incoming update requests.
- Identify opportunities to improve digital workflows, content organization, quality assurance, and production processes.
- Balance speed and responsiveness with the accuracy required for high-impact information such as tuition, admissions requirements, application deadlines, program format, and curriculum.
Additional Enrollment Marketing Support
- Support additional enrollment marketing projects as priorities and recruitment needs evolve.
- Assist with audience segmentation, campaign execution, communications calendars, prospective student outreach, and other enrollment initiatives.
- Support development and maintenance of digital marketing assets and recruitment resources used by admissions and recruitment teams.
- Coordinate with internal and external partners on enrollment-focused projects and deliverables.
- Provide project and production support to the enrollment marketing team as needed.
- Contribute to testing, process improvement, and new approaches that strengthen recruitment and enrollment efforts.
