Job Summary  | Technical manager for an Agile (Scrum) software development team in support of Service Management processes in the Information Technology department. Develops and maintains the organization’s implementation of ServiceNow supporting critical platform functionality including, but not limited to, IT Service Management, IT Operations Management, Strategic Portfolio Management, Asset Management, Customer Service Management, and Human Resource Service Delivery. Ensures proper functioning of the Service Management system and oversees necessary upgrades, providing architectural direction and strategy. Helps business operations groups utilize critical information systems to improve their efficiency. Manages the operational activities, including budgetary, hardware lifecycle, personnel management and performance of the ServiceNow development team.
Responsibilities  | Candidates will demonstrate skills in enabling tools for ITIL based technologies with a technical focus on availability of business applications and systems. The individual should also demonstrate business effectiveness skills such as establishing roadmaps for deploying tools for maintaining optimal IT service delivery. This position will vary in the scope of project responsibilities; however generally this position will focus on designing and delivering technical solutions in the ServiceNow platform such as, but not limited to, Configuration Management solutions, IT Asset Management solutions, IT Service Delivery solutions, Strategic Portfolio Management solutions, Business Process Monitoring solutions, and HR Service Delivery solutions. Candidates will demonstrate skills in IT operations with a technical focus on integrating tools and technical solutions which enable IT Operations. The individual should also demonstrate technical acumen to design relevant and efficient solutions to meet client goals and align with industry best practices. A good understanding of ITIL framework and Agile methodologies is key. Candidate should have a strong background in software development and deep experience within all SDLC processes. Candidate should have strong interpersonal and communication skills and proven experience facilitating and leading discussions and coaching and mentoring staff.
Minimum Qualifications  | Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) with at least 7 years of experience in the field.
