The Website Content Specialist is a critical driver of digital marketing performance within the marketing organization, serving as the dedicated owner of our website's content strategy and optimization. This content optimization expert combines analytical insights with creative copywriting to ensure every webpage, landing page, and content element drives maximum engagement and conversion. The strategic content professional who will thrive in this role demonstrates a proven ability to translate marketing campaign objectives and product initiatives into compelling website experiences that resonate with target audiences and support both SEO and PPC performance goals.

This role reports directly to the Search and Generative Engine Optimization Strategist and collaborates closely with stakeholders across Campaign Strategy, Product Marketing, Marketing Operations, and Performance Marketing teams to align website content with business objectives, optimize user journeys, and deliver measurable improvements in lead quality and conversion rates. Through continuous testing, optimization, and stakeholder collaboration, this role ensures our website serves as a high-performing revenue engine that adapts dynamically to market changes, product launches, and strategic initiatives.

Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Website Content Development & Optimization
  • Create, edit, and publish high-quality, engaging, and conversion-optimized website content across product pages, landing pages, resource hubs, and campaign-driven destinations.
  • Ensure all website copy aligns with brand voice, positioning, and accessibility standards.
  • Optimize content for both human readers and search engines using SEO and GEO best practices, including metadata, header structure, internal linking, and keyword integration.
  • Coordinate with International marketing team to ensure its website is appropriately updated to reflect applicable product releases, marketing campaigns, and larger company and brand initiatives.

Content Performance & Conversion Optimization
  • Collaborate with the SEO & Generative Optimization Strategist to continuously test and refine page content to improve engagement, reduce bounce rates, and drive conversion.
  • Execute A/B tests on headlines, CTAs, and content layouts to identify high-performing variations.
  • Analyze content performance data using tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, SEM Rush, and Mentionlytics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the SEO & Generative Optimization Strategist to implement content practices that enhance visibility in AI-powered platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Google SGE, Perplexity).
  • Structure content in a way that promotes AI summarization, accurate extraction, and featured inclusion in generative search environments.

Collaboration with Marketing Stakeholders:
  • Translate campaign briefs, product launches, and strategic initiatives into website content experiences that support lead generation and brand awareness goals.
  • Work closely with Campaign Strategy, Product Marketing, and Experiential Marketing, and Field Marketing to align content with the full-funnel buyer journey.
  • Advise Campaign Strategy on how to ensure PPC landing pages are optimized for ad quality scores, relevance, and post-click engagement.

Manage Website Content Documentation & Governance Processes
  • Maintain the editorial calendar for key Platform and company webpages including updates, launches, and audits in coordination with campaign and content teams.
  • Ensure content accuracy, compliance (e.g., legal or regulatory), and freshness across all site sections.
  • Maintain consistency in content hierarchy, tone, formatting, and UX across all pages.
  • Maintain documentation for page templates, publishing workflows, and content governance standards.
  • Proactively identify and recommend process improvements to streamline collaboration and content delivery timelines.

Required Qualifications:
  •  Bachelor's Degree.
  • 1-3 years experience with Content strategy and copywriting.
  • 1-3 years experience Developing and implementing AI-supported workflows for content creation.
  • 1-3 years experience with SEO and content optimization.
  • At least 1 year/understanding of UX writing and understanding of content to user journey alignment.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one web content management system (WordPress, Hybris, Adobe Experience Manager).
  • Excellent communication skills; able to collaborate cross-functionally; relationship builder.
  • Creativity and an experimental nature. Test and Learn mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • B2B marketing experience.
  • Awareness of emerging generative engine optimization practices.
  • Experience supporting the implementation of AI-based website marketing systems.
  • Experience challenging standard content models to innovate on how marketing messages are delivered across the digital user journey.
  • Experience piloting or adopting generative AI or automation platforms for SEO enhancement, dynamic page generation, or content optimization at scale.
  • Ability to take creative risks in content design and testing, such as launching unconventional landing pages, interactive elements, or new storytelling formats aimed at increasing conversion and engagement.

Salary Range:  $70,000 - $85,000/year 

Exemption Status:  Exempt 

Physical Requirements:
Requires periods of close concentration; must be able to multi-task; must be able to travel occasionally; work overtime - more than 40 hours a week – as needed.
