Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Provides academic advising to an assigned caseload of undergraduate students. Prepares and maintains associated student records.
  • Addresses student academic concerns and provides referrals to campus resources. Builds links with other university offices and support services such as Academic Success Programs, Education Abroad, Student Case Management, and various Campus Life partners.
  • Assists with academic orientation activities. Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor's degree in education or discipline related to academic advising assignment and one year of related experience, OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and data collection and analysis experience preferred.

NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location.  Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
