McGraw Hill, the leading provider of digital and print educational resources, is looking for a K-12 Academic Coach.  The K-12 Academic Coach supports teachers and district leadership in achieving educational excellence through professional development, curriculum alignment, and evidence-based instructional practices. This role emphasizes collaboration and strategic planning to enhance teacher effectiveness and student outcomes across schools. 
 
This is a hybrid position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.  Applicants must reside in Florida and be able to travel up to 75% of the time. 
 
What you will be doing:   
  • Provide individualized coaching to teachers, focusing on instructional strategies, classroom management, and differentiation techniques.
  • Facilitate professional development sessions aligned with district goals and state standards.
  • Observe classroom instruction and provide constructive feedback to improve teaching practices.
  • Support teachers in integrating technology, data-driven instruction, and innovative teaching tools.
  • Assist educators in addressing diverse student needs, including those requiring intervention or enrichment.
  • Work with district leadership to develop and implement curriculum frameworks, instructional policies, and assessment strategies.
  • Analyze district-wide data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in teaching and learning.
  • Coordinate district-wide professional learning communities (PLCs) and collaborative teaching models.
  • Serve as a resource for district administrators in planning and executing school improvement strategies.
  • Act as a liaison between schools, district leadership, and external partners, such as community organizations or education consultants.
  • Communicate progress and outcomes to stakeholders, including parents, school boards, and community members.
  • Advocate for resources and support to enhance teacher effectiveness and student achievement.
 
We're looking for someone with: 
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Masters Degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field (preferred).
  • Valid teaching certification and significant experience in K-12 education (minimum of 5 years).
  • Expertise in curriculum development, instructional coaching, and assessment practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in educational technology, data analysis, and professional development tools.
  • Ability to build trust and foster collaboration among teachers, administrators, and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of state and national education standards, including Common Core or similar frameworks.
  • Experience in designing and delivering professional development programs.
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing district needs.
  • Must be able to travel 50% - 75% of the time.

The pay range for this position is between $50,000 - $90,000 annually. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.  Additionally, a full range of medical and/or other benefits may be provided, depending on the position offered.
