Job Summary
Academic Coordinator provides administrative support for the Director of Women's Health Education Program by assisting with all
scheduling, coordinating community and clinical sites for the Women's Health electives and scholars program, providing support for updating and creating new lectures and functioning as the primary contract for medical students interested in any Women's Health Elective or research programs.
Essential Functions
- Coordinate Women's Health Seminar Series and Scholar Program.
- Assist in reports and grant preparation.
- Provide administrative support and coordination for medical student education and community engagement.
- Collaborate with all aspects of the Office of Community Health and Inclusive Excellence
- Provide curricular support. Other duties as Assigned (Please do not add to this field)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Associate's Degree in or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum of 2-3 Years of experience.
- Must be proficient in MS office, specifically word, Excel, publisher, and power point.
- Excellent typing, proofreading, and editing skills, ability to handle multiple working assignments/projects.
- Ability to learn and use new computer skills as necessary to meet curricular needs.
- Excellent library skills to perform literature searches and retrieve articles needed for the Pathway.

Additional Information
This position is classified as Non-Exempt, grade H. Compensation for this grade ranges from $18.89 to $28.33 per hour. Please note that the offered rate for this position will vary based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
