Capable to Design and deliver leadership, professional and skill-based training opportunities for faculty and staff. Should be bale to provide support at a high level on informational resources for academic program actions, university offices, as well as the Commission on Higher Education (CHE)

Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience  | Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 4 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Job Duties 
Job Duty  | Academic Program Liaison: Serve as an Academic Program Liaison for MCEC. Serve as a subject matter expert on informational resources for academic program actions and as a communication channel between MCEC and the Provost, Faculty Senate, Committee on Curriculum and Courses, Graduate Council, and other university offices, as well as the Commission on Higher Education (CHE). Coordinate university processes for course and curriculum proposals, including pre-authorization processes, associated CHE actions, and APPS proposals; train and provide guidance to proponents and approvers. Coordinate changes among relevant units, including advising and departments, via establishing processes and implementing decision making that ensures effective implementation of course and program changes. Articulate changes in curriculum to impacted units. Ensure Bulletin, Major Maps, and website information are correctly updated subsequent to course and curriculum changes. Instigate review and updates of non-academic Bulletin information. Coordinate reports on academic program productivity to BOT, CHE, SACS, NC-SARA, and related units and organizations. When coordinating amongst other groups and committees will sometime lead and guide group meetings amongst peers while maintaining collaborative communications and efforts.

Work with department faculty and staff to ensure best practices, provide training on the Assessment Plan Composer software used for assessment reporting, and provide consultation on assessment reports. Monitor academic program review schedules and requirements and communicate such with academic program leadership in MCEC. Coordinate the development, administration and reporting of program assessment surveys in collaboration with academic units. Assist with the planning and implementation of site visits and follow-up activities. Represent MCEC as an Academic Program Liason peer leader and its assessment and evaluation processes to university offices, including the Assessment Advisory Committee.
