Job Summary  | Join the School of Economic, Political and Policy Sciences (EPPS) as a key contributor to the success of our master’s programs. In this role, you will coordinate academic and admissions processes, provide guidance to prospective and current students, and maintain essential student records and databases. You’ll also support departmental communications and marketing initiatives while ensuring compliance with institutional policies. This position is perfect for a detail‑oriented, student‑focused professional who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, collaborative academic environment.
Minimum Education and Experience  | Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Four or more years of administrative office experience in an academic environment. Excellent computer skills with various programs and ability to work with specialized databases. Outstanding customer service skills.

Application Processing
Assists the graduate committee with processing applications for master’s admission.  Student Support Serves as the department liaison for prospective master’s students. Prepares and disseminates information related to admissions, scholarships, and financial aid to prospective graduate students in an ethical manner, ensuring confidentiality and FERPA compliance. Answers routine correspondence regarding inquiries about the master’s programs. Ensures the accuracy and adequacy of student academic records. Explains policies and procedures and informs students of upcoming deadlines. Assists with tracking funding opportunities for incoming master’s students. Maintains electronic files, statistics, and databases related to master’s students and applicants. Assists students with course registration. Event SupportAssists with recruitment and outreach events, departmental events, and events for master’s students.Financial Tasks Reconciles university OneCard purchases in a timely and accurate manner. Assists with departmental purchasing as needed. Marketing and Communication Supports the Events/Marketing Manager as needed. Assists with email communications and database management. Policy InterpretationEnsures compliance with institutional rules, regulations, and procedures.General Administrative Support Performs related duties as assigned. Provides office coverage as needed.
