 Job Description
As an Accessibility Analyst, you will help Renaissance achieve our mission of accelerating learning for all by ensuring our digital products and services are accessible to every user. You’ll collaborate with teams to integrate accessibility early in design and development, conduct audits, and provide recommendations. Beyond evaluations, you’ll help improve processes, train teams, and support the organization in building a strong, sustainable accessibility culture. 
 
In this role as an Accessibility Analyst, you will:  
  • Evaluate digital assets, including websites, applications, and documents, for compliance with accessibility standards such as WCAG. 
  • Conduct accessibility audits, usability testing, and assistive technology evaluations. 
  • Review design files (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) and images to identify accessibility issues before development. 
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Product Owners to shape accessibility requirements early in the development process. 
  • Provide recommendations and work with developers, designers, and content creators to improve accessibility. 
  • Stay up to date with evolving accessibility guidelines, legislation, and industry trends. 
  • Train and educate teams on accessibility best practices and compliance requirements. 
  • Document findings and create reports to track progress and compliance. 

For this role as an Accessibility Analyst, you should have:
  • At least three years of experience in accessibility evaluation, recommendations, and training. 
  • Strong understanding of accessibility laws, guidelines, and frameworks (WCAG, etc.). 
  • Experience with assistive technologies (screen readers, magnifiers, speech recognition, etc.). 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. 
  • Experience working with diverse teams to implement accessibility improvements. 
  • Solid grasp of HTML and CSS, with the ability to identify issues and offer informed recommendations. 
  • Familiarity with ARIA attributes to provide informed recommendations based on best practices, browser support, and screen reader compatibility. 

Preferred:
  • Experience evolving teams from no accessibility to strong, sustainable practices, integrating accessibility into processes, culture, and product development. 
  • Experience working in UX, web development, or compliance-related fields. 
  • Familiarity with ADA and Section 508 accessibility requirements. 
  • Ability to conduct audits using accessibility evaluation tools. 
  • Passion for accessibility advocacy.

The below compensation range is based on national market data and may vary by experience and location. 
Salary Range
$74,700—$102,750 USD
