Account Executive (EDU) Full Description

Are you an enthusiastic sales professional with a passion for higher education? Do you thrive in environments where you can make a difference in the learning experience of students and educators? Kahoot! is looking for an Account Executive with relevant EdTech experience to join our awesome team of colleagues based in Austin, Texas.
This position reports to the Manager, Enterprise sales (EDU). 

The role
As an Account Executive in the higher education segment, you will be responsible for developing and pursuing sales opportunities with clients in higher education. You will play a crucial role in connecting schools, educators, and students with Kahoot!'s innovative learning platform, enhancing classroom engagement and learning outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and convert higher education in order to meet revenue targets.
  • Revenue growth through expansion of current university accounts.
  • Drive revenue by prospecting and delivering a sales pipeline.
  • Proactively seek new opportunities in the education space, forming relationships with CIOs, Department Deans, CAOs and instructors.
  • Create the right pipeline mix of short and long sales-cycle customers on an ongoing basis.
  • Implement sales processes to drive predictable revenue.
  • Manage daily and weekly activities, pipelines, forecasts and closed deals to ensure above quota results.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Kahoot! products, customer needs, and the competitive market.
  • Work closely with other key functions such as Marketing, Support, and Product, to deliver key customer insights.

Requirements
  • Higher university degree (Bachelor's degree minimum).
  • 3+ years EdTech selling experience.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Fluent in English verbal and written.
  • Proven track record in developing leads and business pipelines while translating them into revenue.
  • Good working knowledge of higher education buying processes and markets.
  • Self-driven individual who proactively identifies opportunities and deliver results.
  • Ability to thrive and hunger to outperform in a fast-growing environment.
  • Team player with ability to work in a distributed and international environment.
