As an Inside Account Manager for the K12/CTE segment, you'll be the primary partner for your assigned high school accounts—helping them succeed with Milady curriculum and digital platforms.

This role blends consultative sales, strategic account management, and proactive customer success to retain and grow our relationships in the high school space. Your core focus will be to deliver exceptional service, drive digital adoption, and meet revenue goals through partnership and value delivery.

What You’ll Do
Sales & Revenue Growth
  • Grow revenue within existing accounts by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities aligned to customer needs.
  • Identify and convert competitive school programs to Milady curriculum and digital offerings.
  • Leverage solution selling strategies to meet assigned sales goals and territory growth plans.
Customer Success & Account Growth
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts—ensuring customer satisfaction, adoption, and retention.
  • Build long-term relationships with instructors, administrators, and CTE decision-makers by understanding their goals and challenges.
  • Proactively guide customers through the onboarding, implementation, and ongoing success journey of Milady digital platform.
  • · Monitor customer health, identify risk, and address obstacles to ensure renewal and growth.
  • Partner closely with the Implementation & Training team to ensure smooth transitions and outcomes for digital customers.
Operational Excellence
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce, tracking activities, opportunities, and customer interactions.
  • Prepare regular reports on territory performance, key account insights, and sales activities.'
  • Represent Milady at industry events, trade shows, or virtual meetings to strengthen relationships and promote solutions.

What You’ll Bring
Required
  • Sales experience is a must for this role.
  • 3+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or consultative sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
  • Strong relationship builder with excellent communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable with digital tools and platforms; ability to educate customers on online learning solutions.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Some college coursework completed.
  • Ability to travel occasionally (~10%) to key events or customer locations.

Preferred
  • Associate’s Degree or higher.
  • Experience in the Beauty & Wellness industry or selling into High School/CTE programs.
  • Understanding of education funding cycles.

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location.  Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.$21.00 - $28.00 USD
