Our Sales team serves the critical role of getting our products into the hands of our customers. This talented team works hard to build and maintain relationships with our clients, as well as looks for new business opportunities to expand our reach. Responsibilities:
Description
The Account Management team manages and nurtures business relationships with our customers. The team identifies customer needs, developing customized solutions and communicating regularly to build customer loyalty. They will be will be responsible for carrying and attaining a quota for assigned territories, including public, charter, and private schools, through an inside sales motion in our Folsom, CA HQ. This role is responsible for achieving company-designated sales targets and prospecting, qualifying, building relationships with new customers, and extending relationships with existing customers in the designated territory. Successful candidates will be proficient at qualifying leads, identifying decision-makers, determining customer needs, presenting and explaining the benefits of PowerSchool solutions, building strategic business plans, overcoming objections, and closing sales.
This is an in-office role, with expectations of working in our Folsom HQ Sales office a minimum of 3 times per week, promoting collaboration, best practice sharing, and learning, driving greater individual and team success.
Your day-to-day job will consist of:
- Ability to work with existing and new customer bases to promote new products and services, emphasizing building new relationships and establishing new logos.
- Ability to meet and exceed bookings goals and activity measurements
- Using a solution sales approach to sell all PowerSchool product lines to K-12 schools
- Build and maintain a 3x pipeline with excellent forecast accuracy practices
- Develop and execute on SalesLoft campaigns focused on specific territory and product offerings
- Requires the individual to become well-versed in all PowerSchool product lines and services beyond basic features and benefits
- Being a positive member of a team environment while working independently to meet an aggressive quota.
- Ability to develop and execute quality business and territory plans
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of relevant and related work experience.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
- Team player mindset with drive, conviction, and positive energy
- Strong organizational, communication, presentation, and time management skills
- Sales abilities to meet or exceed sales targets within an assigned territory by positioning the competitive advantages of PowerSchool.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Salesforce

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $43,500 - $55,700 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; specific geographic location; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
