Position Information: This is a regular, full-time position, reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Controller.

Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $126,803 and $160,000 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.

Location: In this US-based position your location will be hybrid-remote in our office in Tempe, Arizona.

Envision Your Experience.

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:

Manage a team of accounting professionals.
Prepare consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
Oversee monthly close entries and reconciliations.
Manage UK and Ireland accounting teams and responsibilities including payroll, tax and audit.
Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations, including addressing issues related to foreign currency exchange.
Manage and provide guidance to the Senior Accountant-Tax Compliance for sales tax returns and audits, preparation of income tax documentation, handling of tax notices and timely payments for all.
Oversee Senior Accountant who manages acquisition integration, royalty calculations, grant accounting and more.
Manage Staff Accountant, to ensure sales commission calculations are accurate, reconciled between NetSuite and Xactly, well-documented and processed on schedule.
Support treasury function by initiating wire transfers and other payments.
Other duties as required.

Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting with a CPA certification and at least 10 years of progressive accounting experience in mid-size growing organizations; and at least 8 years of management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with multi-entity consolidated financial statement preparation.
Proven efficient and accurate month-end close process management.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations.
Experience with multiple currencies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, NetSuite strongly preferred.
Willingness and ability to work flexible hours.
