Job Description:
The Accounts Receivable Clerk II is responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of incoming payments across all lines of business. Key duties include:
- Balancing, editing, and posting payment information to customer accounts and invoices.
- Verifying and posting receipts in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Processing Education and Retail Returns, Credit/Debit Adjustments, Transfers, and Refunds to customer accounts.
- Maintaining accuracy and timeliness in all AR transactions.
- Supporting PCI compliance and adhering to all security guidelines.
- Providing backup support to other areas as needed.
- Performing other duties as assigned, including overtime when required.
Qualifications
- Consistent record of average or above-average attendance and performance.
- Strong accounting background or excellent mathematical skills.
- Proficient in alpha and numeric keyboarding with high accuracy and speed.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word preferred.
- Commitment to maintaining PCI compliance and data security.
