About the Role:  
The CPD Activity Planner supports the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of accredited continuing medical education activities. This role ensures programs address identified practice gaps, meet learner and patient care needs, and comply with accreditation standards. Partnering with clinical teams, subject matter experts, and operational stakeholders, the planner delivers high-quality, evidence-based education to improve clinician performance and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:  
  • Support the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of accredited CPD activities aligned to identified practice gaps and educational needs.
  • Define target audiences, learning objectives, and expected outcomes to improve clinician performance, patient outcomes, and system effectiveness.
  • Develop and review measurable, outcomes-based learning objectives tied to practice gaps and educational goals.
  • Ensure content is evidence-based, clinically relevant, balanced, and incorporates adult learning principles and engagement strategies.
  • Maintain compliance with accreditation standards, policies, and joint provider ship/interprofessional CE requirements.
  • Manage disclosure processes, identify and mitigate financial conflicts, and ensure separation from commercial influence.
  • Review materials for bias, accuracy, and completeness, including accreditation statements, disclosures, and learner requirements.
  • Collaborate with faculty, SMEs, and planning committees; provide guidance on CME expectations, timelines, and content alignment.
  • Oversee activity operations, including evaluations, learner assessments, reporting, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:  
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, adult education, instructional design, or related field.
  • Experience in continuing medical education, nursing continuing professional development, healthcare education, medical education, clinical education, or adult learning.
  • Knowledge of accredited CPD planning principles, educational design, assessment, and evaluation.
  • Strong organizational, project management, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, healthcare professionals, faculty, subject matter experts, and operational teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities, deadlines, and documentation requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and online learning or content management platforms.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $78,800 - $131,300. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
