Administrative Business Analyst Full Description

Position Summary

Assists in overseeing the operational activities of AFRE, specifically human resources, facilities and general business operations.  This position requires the ability to perform work directly related to the management of general business operations and human resource activities of the unit. This position must interpret and implement policies and procedures set forth by MSU, CANR and AFRE leadership in order to assist in developing best solution for AFRE. Key responsibilities include assisting with the implementation of solutions that enhance service, strengthen compliance, and improve operational effectiveness; analyzing departmental business processes; identifying opportunities to increase operational efficiency; and developing workflow improvements.

Minimum Requirements

Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in a business-related field or in a field which corresponds to the particular department of employment; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in office procedures, or in performing responsibilities related to the operational activities of the employing unit; experience with word processing, database, spreadsheet, presentation software and/or desktop publishing, web page software; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
